Why K’IDS

The world needs dialogue and conversation—especially now, when so many cultures collectively shape the international community.

Through conversation with others, we come to understand ourselves, and in doing so, we make better choices—not just for ourselves, but also for shared meaningful goals.

We need values that infuse every aspect of our lives, whether professional, private, or social.

In pursuing knowledge, these values act as the interdisciplinary bond that ties science’s purpose to its real-world application.

In the name of the common good, the state must foster the development of young people—of children—so that their choices from the earliest days in the school community lead to the best possible use of knowledge and the unique strengths of each individual in the future.

This approach to education will inspire a deeper, more conscious, and more effective pursuit of knowledge.

Such a humanistic vision is the fundamental driver of progress for humanity itself.

What is K’IDS (Educational Transposition Method)

The core principle of the K’IDS Educational Transposition Method is to integrate values into the educational process.

These values are drawn from the “What Schools Should Teach” (WSOT) list—an open, evolving framework designed to complement existing school curricula.

The key innovation of this method is the intentional use of tailored scenarios that connect specific lesson content with relevant values.

We maintain the teaching of standard subjects—languages, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and geography—as defined by national educational systems, fully adhering to their prescribed curricula and required topics.

K’IDS Mission

Our mission is to build a global community of exceptional, innovative educators who will share their most effective teaching methods, styles, and professional cultures—while implementing the K’IDS Method in primary schools worldwide.

The K’IDS App will empower these teachers by providing them with groundbreaking, highly effective lesson scenarios—enabling global dissemination of best practices.

Crucially, the app allows educators to compare lesson scenarios across cultures, educational environments, and grade levels—all while adapting to the unique needs of each student.

Value Centered Approach

Through carefully crafted lesson scenarios, we integrate values-based teaching into the core of education—without displacing existing curricula.

Developed collaboratively by leading educators from Poland, the United States, and the United Kingdom, this scenario system will evolve through global teacher participation.

The K’IDS Programme was created by a team of seasoned classroom teachers and university researchers working in partnership.

The K’IDS lesson framework organically cultivates fundamental values from an open catalog—including dialogue, collaboration, critical analysis, creative problem-solving, accountability, logical reasoning, courage, and foresight.

Teachers guide students to discover deeper layers of meaning in their lessons, helping them recognize the values and life skills woven into academic content and the real-world opportunities this knowledge creates. This technique makes learning more interesting and relevant to real life, while also developing students’ character and assisting instructors’ professional development.

We create learning environments where interdisciplinary knowledge flows together naturally—making education part of life itself, not just an academic exercise. This interdisciplinary approach reflects our core philosophy: true learning happens when knowledge is understood, internalized, and meaningfully applied.
